Clare Cordell is a singer-songwriter from Watford. Described once as "a sassier, more common version of Adele with a greater voice and a significantly lower bank balance" Clare is fully riding that narrative bringing you a concoction of soulful heartfelt music, filthy language and self-deprecating humour.

Inspired by great female vocalists and songwriters such as Stevie Nicks, Whitney, Brandi Carlile and Aretha Franklin; Clare's music is a mixture of easy blues meets powerhouse soul.

Clare was most recently a quarter finalist on the 2022 series of The Voice UK as a member of Team Tom Jones!

Singing Aretha Franklin's 'Ain't No Way' for her blind audition Clare received high praise from all of the judges, Olly Murs branding her 'a gem that could win the show'.

On the day of its release, Clare's debut EP No Stupid Ideas reached number 2 in the Spotify New Music playlist for unsigned artists. Her single She Won't has reached over 35,000 Spotify plays and alongside her other music, features in multiple playlists across the platform.

Clare has been a featured backing vocalist on various artist tracks including Eliza & The Bear's hit song ‘Higher’ which has received a multitude of TV, Radio and Film play.

She was a featured artist as part of the Girls Irate movement founded by Carla Marie Williams (two time Grammy nominated songwriter and producer for Beyoncé, Naughty Boy, Britney Spears) and was also a featured performer at the Girls Irate women in music event for PRS Music presented by Lily Allen.

Clare often frequents various music and cabaret stages around the UK, she is also a featured host at the hit musical theatre bar SingEasy in Piano Works in Leicester Square!
